Snap the worksheet. Start the tutoring — not the copying.
Scanner apps read a problem and hand back solved steps. Talon reads the same photo and does something different: it starts a tutoring conversation, with hints and guided questions, on any subject — so the photo saves typing, not thinking. Free to start.

Snap the worksheet
Photograph the printed problem — a worksheet, a textbook page, a handout. Faster than typing a word problem, and no transcription errors.
Talon reads it
The AI extracts the problem from the image and understands what is being asked — equations, diagrams referenced in text, multi-part questions.
Tutoring starts — not an answer dump
Instead of solved steps to copy, you get a tutoring conversation: what have you tried, here is a hint, check that second step. The reasoning stays with the student.
The session connects to everything else
The photo session lives in the same workspace as mock tests and study plans. A topic that keeps showing up in photos becomes a topic your practice plan targets.
Common questions
How is this different from Photomath?
Photomath scans a math problem and shows you the solved steps — the answer, structured. Talon scans the problem and starts a tutoring conversation: a hint, a question about what you have tried, a check on your reasoning. One hands you the fish; the other is fishing lessons. Talon also reads any subject, not just math.
What kinds of pages can it read?
Printed worksheets, textbook pages, problem sets, and handouts. Photograph the problem you are stuck on — the AI reads the image and opens a session on it, so there is no retyping a three-line word problem into a chat box.
Does it work for subjects other than math?
Yes — that is a key difference from single-subject scanner apps. A grammar exercise, a chemistry problem set, a history question: photograph it and the tutoring conversation starts from whatever is on the page.
Will it just give my child the answer?
No. The photo is an input method, not a shortcut — the same tutoring guardrails apply. Talon gives hints and asks guiding questions; it does not hand over a finished answer to copy down.
Is the photo feature free?
Photo-to-help is part of the core tutoring workspace, which is free to start — no credit card required.
