Is Talon really free to start?
Yes. Every new account starts with a 15-day trial with everything unlocked at Premium-level limits — no credit card. After the trial, the Free plan continues with a monthly allowance of 40 AI tutor responses, so Talon stays useful without paying a cent.
What is the difference between Student and Premium?
The plans differ mainly in monthly AI allowance. Student includes 3,000 AI tutor responses a month — plenty for nightly homework help plus test prep. Premium raises that to 15,000 a month for the heaviest users and adds premium content access.
What happens if we hit the monthly limit?
The allowance resets at the start of each billing month, and nothing is lost — your history, skills, and progress all stay. If your learner runs out mid-month, upgrade any time and the higher allowance applies immediately.
Do yearly plans save money?
Yes. Student Yearly is $199.99 (versus $239.88 paying monthly — about two months free). Premium Yearly is $499.99 versus $599.88 monthly.
What does the Institutional plan include?
The Institutional plan is for schools and organizations: admin dashboards, course authoring, rosters, learning analytics, and the same guided tutoring for every student — under school control. Pricing starts at $499; contact us to scope a pilot for your size.
Can I cancel anytime?
